Reorganisation terms of UAB Lietuvos energijos tiekimas and Energijos tiekimas UAB have been announced

UAB Lietuvos energijos tiekimas, which is a part of Lietuvos energija group of companies of state-owned capital, and the independent electricity supplier Energijos tiekimas UAB have announced the terms of their reorganisation. The companies are reorganised by way of merger, by merging Energijos tiekimas UAB to UAB Lietuvos energijos tiekimas which continues in operation. As already announced earlier, on 23 May 2018, the Supervisory Board of Lietuvos energija approved the strategy of Lietuvos energija group of companies. Total - New Global Supplier in the Lithuanian LNG Market

Total, one of the biggest players in the global energy market, has joined the suppliers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) delivering LNG to Lithuania. Gas and electricity supplier Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas (LET) signed a gas purchase agreement with an international company Total Gas & Power Limited. Extraordinary Cargo Arrives to Lithuania: the First Shipment of Gas from the USA to Reach the Consumers of the Baltic States Very Soon

This week, natural gas extracted in the USA will reach the houses, businesses, industries, power plants and farmers of Lithuania and other Baltic States. Gas carrier ship Clean Ocean arrived at Klaipėda Seaport this morning carrying the US cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG), the first in the Baltic States and one of the first in the Eastern and Central Europe, that was purchased by a natural gas trading company Lietuvos Dujų Tiekimas from the USA-based company Cheniere Marketing International under the contract signed in June.
